Terms of Service

1. About Digital Love Story

Digital Love Story (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a digital gifting platform where you can create and share personalised interactive experiences — including photo puzzles, interactive proposals, and birthday surprises — delivered as shareable links. By purchasing or using any part of our service you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. The Service

We offer a range of one-time purchase digital experience products, currently including:

• Photo Puzzle (₹149) — your photo split into a 3×3 swap puzzle with a reveal message.
• Birthday Surprise (₹199) — a multi-stage interactive birthday experience with photos, interactive questions, and a personal letter.
• Will You? (₹99) — an interactive yes/no experience with a dodging No button and a GIF reveal.

Each product generates a unique, permanent shareable link (e.g. digitallove.story/s/abc-123) that the recipient can open on any device without downloading an app or creating an account.

3. Purchases & Payment

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We accept UPI, cards, net banking, and wallets.
• Your order is confirmed only after successful payment verification.
• Once your shareable link is generated and delivered, the purchase is complete.

4. Refund Policy

By completing a purchase you acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to a refund once the experience link has been generated. Please review your personalisation carefully before paying.

If you believe there has been an unauthorised charge or a payment processing error, contact us at custom.gifts.digital@gmail.com and we will investigate.

4a. Cancellation Policy

If you made an error in your personalisation (wrong name, wrong message, etc.) please contact us at custom.gifts.digital@gmail.com — while we cannot guarantee changes, we will do our best to help on a case-by-case basis.

5. Your Content

• You own your content. Any photos, messages, or other material you upload remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your content solely to deliver and host your purchased experience.
• You are responsible for your content. By uploading photos or writing messages you confirm that you have the right to use that content and that it does not infringe any third-party copyright, contain illegal material, or include personally identifiable information of anyone who has not consented.
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable law, without refund, and to terminate access for repeat violations.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Digital Love Story to:

• Upload or share obscene, defamatory, harassing, or illegal content.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Use the platform for commercial resale without our written consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt our platform or infrastructure.
• Violate any applicable Indian or international law or regulation.

7. WhatsApp Delivery

If you provide a WhatsApp number at checkout, we will attempt to send your experience link via WhatsApp using the Meta Cloud API. Delivery is not guaranteed and depends on your number being registered on WhatsApp, network conditions, and Meta's platform availability. Failure to receive a WhatsApp message does not constitute grounds for a refund — your experience link is always accessible directly via the URL shown after payment.

8. Link Availability

We aim to keep your experience link accessible for a minimum of 12 monthsfrom the date of purchase. We do not guarantee permanent availability but will make reasonable efforts to maintain the service. If we discontinue a product or the service, we will provide reasonable notice where possible.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform design, code, branding, copy, and experience templates are the intellectual property of Digital Love Story and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused without our prior written consent. The name “Digital Love Story” and its associated logo are our trademarks.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Love Story's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or emotional damages, including disappointment caused by a recipient's reaction to your surprise.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific recipient reaction will result from your purchase (we can't guarantee a Yes! 💗).

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Music Credits

Background music in our experiences uses public-domain classical recordings (Chopin, Pachelbel, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Satie), plus “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies” by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com), licensed under CC BY 3.0.
